About
I grew up in Brecksville, OH. After high school, I attended The Ohio State University. During my time at OSU, I fell in love with education. I volunteered in grades K-5 at a local school through the Adopt-A-School program for four years. I also participated in the Best Buddies and English Conversation Partner programs which allowed me to foster friendships with people with intellectual disabilities and english language learners, respectively. I completed my student teaching in a kindergarten classroom in Columbus City Schools before graduating.
After graduation, I moved to Toledo, OH to teach first grade for four years. In 2019, I moved back to the Cleveland area to teach pre-K at Orange Early Childhood. During the 2020-2021 school year, I was a full time graduate student at Cleveland State University. I completed my student teaching in a grades 3-5 Emotional Disturbance Unit at Hannah Gibbons Elementary School in CMSD during the fall 2021 semester.
Currently, I am substitute teaching in CMSD as I complete my master's degree and reading endorsement by May 2022. I am interested in finding a teaching position within my licensure for the 2022-2023 school year.
